The use of Appnerve’s services is conditioned upon full compliance with this Advertiser Policy. All demand-side partners, advertisers, advertising agencies, media buyers, and self-serve buyers (collectively referred to as the “Company”) are required to adhere to the standards and requirements outlined in this Policy. These terms govern all advertisements (“Ads”) delivered by or on behalf of the Company through any platform operated by Appnerve or its affiliated group companies (collectively, the “Platforms”).

This Policy applies universally to any and all Ads that are placed, distributed, or otherwise served via the Appnerve Platforms, regardless of the media format or delivery method. Compliance with this Policy is a condition of access to and continued use of the Appnerve advertising ecosystem.

Appnerve reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, update, or otherwise amend this Advertiser Policy at any time. Such modifications may be communicated via updates posted on Appnerve’s website or internal platforms, including through restatements of this Policy where appropriate. It is the responsibility of the Company to regularly review this Policy and ensure that all advertising activities remain in full compliance with the most recent version.

By using the Platforms, the Company acknowledges and agrees to abide by the terms set forth herein. Non-compliance may result in enforcement actions including, but not limited to, ad rejection, suspension, account restriction, or termination.

Advertisement Placement

All Ads served via the Appnerve Platforms must comply with the following technical and formatting requirements to ensure high-quality user experience and integrity across Publisher Properties:

  • No Forced Redirects: Ads must not trigger full-page redirects or automatically navigate users away from the Publisher Property without explicit user interaction. This restriction includes redirects to app stores on mobile devices unless initiated by the user.
  • No In-Banner Video (IBV): Video Ads and creatives may only run in designated video inventory. The use of in-banner video formats in non-video placements is strictly prohibited.
  • No Auto-Refresh of Creatives: Ads must remain static after rendering. Creatives are not permitted to auto-refresh or rotate messaging post-load.
  • User-Initiated Windows Only: Ads may not open pop-up windows, JavaScript dialogs, or other overlays that obscure surrounding content. New windows or browser tabs may only open when initiated by a user click.
  • Pop-Under Prohibited: Pop-under windows and any similar secondary browser behaviors are strictly forbidden.
  • Size Conformity: Ads must not exceed the boundaries of their assigned ad slots unless they are explicitly served in expandable ad units in accordance with defined specifications.
  • No Malicious Code: Ad inventory must be free from malware, viruses, spyware, trojans, or any code intended to disrupt or compromise the user’s system. Drive-by downloads or auto-installations are strictly prohibited.
  • No Faked Interactions: Ads may not simulate or falsify user interactions, including fabricated clicks or other forms of engagement.
  • No Unauthorized Actions: Ads may not initiate functions that affect the end user without explicit consent—such as sending SMS messages, triggering app installations, or initiating payments or downloads.
  • Error-Free Creative Delivery: Ads must deliver functional creative upon winning an impression. Serving empty tags or creatives that result in VAST or VPAID errors (e.g., failed creative rendering) is not allowed.
  • Accurate Creative Declaration: All creatives must be correctly labeled with metadata such as advertiser domain, auto play status, click-to-play settings, and expandable format indicators.
  • CTV Inventory Requirements: Ads intended for Connected TV (CTV) environments must be delivered in both Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD) formats. Formats below 720 x 480p resolution or 30 frames per second (fps) are not acceptable.

Ad Content Guidelines

To protect the integrity of Appnerve, its Platforms, and its partners, all content served through advertisements must adhere to strict content standards. The Company is solely responsible for ensuring that all Ads—and any accompanying materials, content, or technology—comply with applicable laws and do not compromise the integrity of the advertising ecosystem.

All Ads must meet the following requirements:

  • Legal Compliance: Ads must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and industry guidelines.

  • Content Accuracy: Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that the information presented in the ad is accurate, up to date, and substantiated where applicable.
